Caring for Your Bouquet

Your Magpie Creative bouquet has been lovingly handcrafted and is designed to be treasured, a true work of art to be admired.

A ceremony keepsake – your bouquet is a luxury decorative piece, crafted to be carried with elegance during your ceremony and cherished as a keepsake long after your special day.
Handle with grace – always hold your bouquet by the handle. It is not designed for rough handling, tossing, or the traditional bouquet throw — it is a thing of beauty, made to be admired.
Keep it dry – avoid contact with water, perfume, and hairspray, as these can dull the crystals and damage the delicate embellishments.
Store with care – wrap in acid-free tissue paper and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discolouration.
Gentle cleaning – if needed, use a soft dry cloth or a very soft brush to gently remove dust from the crystals. Never submerge in water.
Display with pride – your bouquet makes a stunning keepsake. A glass dome or shadow box is the perfect way to preserve its beauty for years to come.

Unlike mass-produced items, handmade pieces carry with them the marks of their making — tiny variations in texture, placement, and finish that are not imperfections, but signatures.

These subtle nuances are what give your bouquet its soul. They are the evidence of the care, skill, and artistry that has gone into every single detail — the gentle curve of a petal, the placement of a crystal, the way the light catches a pearl. No machine could replicate this, and no two bouquets will ever be quite the same.

Bouquet Sizes & Dimensions

Every Magpie Creative bouquet is a one-of-a-kind creation. Each flower, embellishment, jewel, bead, button, pin, and ribbon is individually selected and sourced specifically for that bouquet at the time of making, chosen to complement its colour palette. From the fabric arrangements to the crystal details, no two bouquets are ever the same.

This means that sizes and weight may vary ever so slightly from bouquet to bouquet, depending on the textures, layers, and levels of embellishment used. This is not a flaw, it is the very essence of being handmade and what makes the bouquet individual.

The Bouquet Globe

Small (ideal for children or bridesmaids): approximately 20cm in width
Standard bridal bouquet: approximately 25–28cm in width (can be up to 30cm with lace and ribbons)
Height of the globe: approximately 15cm - 18cm at its centre height and from the base of the handle where it meets the bouquet

The Handle

Handle length: approximately 13–15cm
Handle circumference: approximately 12–14cm at the widest point (typically at the base of the handle, where embellishments are most concentrated) and the handle width is between 3cm and 5cm in diameter.

Weight

Weight varies depending on the type and density of embellishments used. For non-brooch bouquets, weight is typically up to 1kg. Brooch bouquets may weigh more due to the nature of the hardware used.

Construction & Finishing

To ensure every embellishment is beautifully and securely in place, heavier items and encrusted details are fixed using strong adhesives and/or pins. These are either cosmetically hidden within the bouquet's construction or are chosen to complement and enhance its appearance. While fixings may occasionally be visible in places, they will never protrude, look unsightly, or cause harm or snag clothing. They will always be neatly tucked away and will form part of the overall bouquet aesthetic.

Your wedding day is the most important day of your life, and Magpie Creative is proud to be at the heart of it. Every bouquet is stringently checked before despatch — we will only ever send you something truly beautiful.

Please note that all measurements and weights are approximate. If you require specific information about a particular bouquet, please don't hesitate to get in touch before placing your order.

Made to Order — Timelines

Many of our bouquets are made to order, meaning your bouquet will be crafted especially for you once your order is placed.

Production time: made to order bouquets typically take between 4–6 weeks to complete.
Our recommendation: please allow a minimum of 8 weeks before your intended wedding date to comfortably allow for both production and delivery.
Plan ahead – we strongly advise ordering as early as possible to avoid any last-minute stress. Your wedding day deserves nothing but perfection, and great things take time!

If you have a specific date in mind or are working to a tight timeline, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Free tracked delivery on all orders over £100
A delivery surcharge of £4.99 applies to orders under £100
All UK orders are sent via tracked delivery so you can follow your bouquet every step of the way

International Orders

We are happy to ship internationally, however due to the varying import taxes and duties applicable in different countries, international shipping costs are calculated on application.
Please contact us before placing your international order and we will provide you with a personalised shipping quote, which will be added to the cost of your purchase.
Please note that any import duties or taxes levied by the recipient country are the responsibility of the buyer.

Returns & Cancellations

Made to Order Bouquets

As each made to order bouquet is crafted exclusively for you, these items are exempt from standard return rights under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We are therefore unable to accept returns or cancellations on made to order items once production has begun.

All bouquets are despatched with a Magpie Creative security tag attached. This tag must remain intact and in place should you need to raise any concerns about your order. Removal of the security tag will be taken as acceptance of the item.

To ensure you are completely happy with your bouquet, we are delighted to provide regular progress updates throughout the making process — just let us know at the time of ordering and we will keep you informed every step of the way.

Ready-to-Ship Items

In accordance with UK consumer law, ready-to-ship items may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging.

All ready-to-ship bouquets are despatched with a Magpie Creative security tag attached. This tag must remain intact and in place for a return to be accepted. Removal of the security tag will be taken as acceptance of the item, and the bouquet will no longer be eligible for return.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly recommend returning items via a tracked service, as we are unable to accept responsibility for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

International Orders

We are unable to accept returns on international orders.

Magpie Creative offers a number of bouquets that are ready to despatch immediately, exactly as shown and in the colours advertised.

However, if you have fallen in love with a particular style but would like it in different colours, need additional bouquets to match for your bridesmaids, or simply dream of a completely bespoke creation that is perfect for your wedding theme — we would love to hear from you.
