Magpie Creative Bridal Bouquet

Thank you for choosing a beautiful Magpie Creative piece from our exclusive handmade collection of bouquets and treasured keepsakes.

If you have purchased a Magpie bouquet, you have chosen an atelier creation that has been thoughtfully designed and lovingly handcrafted with passion, care, and artistry. Created to complement a special occasion of deep meaning, your bouquet should be treated as a piece of art something to be carried with grace, admired with joy, and cherished for years to come.

Caring for Your Bouquet

  • A ceremony keepsake – your bouquet is a luxury decorative piece, crafted to be carried with elegance during your ceremony and cherished as a keepsake long after your special day.
  • Handle with grace – always hold your bouquet by the handle. It is not designed for rough handling, tossing, or the traditional bouquet throw; it is a piece of beauty, made to be admired and preserved.
  • Keep it dry – avoid contact with water, perfume, and hairspray, as these may dull the crystals or damage the delicate embellishments.
  • Store with care – wrap your bouquet in acid-free tissue paper and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to help prevent discolouration.
  • Clean gently – if needed, use a soft dry cloth or very soft brush to gently lift away dust from the crystals and embellishments. Never submerge your bouquet in water.
  • Display with pride – your bouquet makes a stunning forever keepsake. A glass dome or shadow box is a beautiful way to preserve and display it for years to come. Alternatively, Magpie Creative can deconstruct your bouquet and rebuild it as a framed keepsake picture, allowing you to enjoy it as a lasting work of art. Please contact us for further information.

Every Magpie Creative bouquet is made entirely by hand, and it is this very human touch that makes each one so special. Unlike mass-produced items, handmade pieces carry the marks of their making: tiny variations in texture, placement, and finish that are not imperfections, but signatures. These subtle details make your piece truly individual, a one-of-a-kind creation with its own story, charm, and soul. They are evidence of the care, skill, and artistry that has gone into every detail: the gentle curve of a flower petal, the placement of a crystal, the way the light catches a pearl. No machine could replicate this, and no two bouquets will ever be quite the same.

We celebrate the handmade. We hope you do too. 🤍

A Note About Small Parts

All bouquets contain intricate small parts, crystals, pins, and embellishments designed to give that synonymous Magpie touch of magic. However, small parts and pins could work loose, so it is important to consider this around small children due to the risk of choking. Please use and store your beautiful Magpie creation safely and always supervise around children.

Sharp Edges

As Magpie Creative bouquets are created using crystals, diamantes, beads, pins, and decorative embellishments, some pieces may naturally have tiny edges or textured surfaces. Every bouquet is carefully checked before despatch, and we take great care to ensure embellishments are securely placed and finished as neatly as possible. However, due to the nature of crystal and diamante details, occasional light catching or snagging against delicate fabrics can occur if the bouquet is rubbed against lace, tulle, chiffon, silk, or other fine materials. This is not a fault, but a natural consideration when carrying a highly embellished handmade piece. We simply recommend carrying your bouquet gently by the handle and keeping the embellished areas away from very delicate fabrics where possible. With a little mindful handling, your bouquet can be enjoyed beautifully and confidently throughout your special day.

Made to Order

Many of our bouquets are made to order, which means your piece will be created especially for you once your order has been placed. This allows us to give your bouquet the time, care, and attention it deserves, ensuring every detail is beautifully considered.

  • Production time – made-to-order bouquets typically take between 4–6 weeks to complete.
  • Our recommendation – we kindly recommend allowing a minimum of 8 weeks before your wedding date to comfortably allow for both production and delivery.
  • Plan ahead – we strongly advise ordering as early as possible to avoid any last-minute stress. Your wedding day deserves something truly special, and beautiful handmade pieces take time.

If you have a specific date in mind or are working to a tighter timeline, please contact us before placing your order. We will always do our very best to help where possible.

Returns for Bespoke & Made to Order Bouquets

Bespoke and one-off made-to-order bouquets are created especially for you, based on your chosen colours, style, theme, preferences, and agreed design details. As these pieces are personalised and made specifically to your requirements, they cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless they arrive faulty or damaged.

Once a bespoke or made-to-order bouquet has been confirmed and work has begun, we may retain up to 100% of the order value if you choose to cancel. The amount retained will depend on the stage your bouquet has reached and may reflect design time, administration, reserved production time, materials already sourced or purchased, and any work already completed specifically for your order. Any amount retained will be considered fairly and proportionately. This does not affect your statutory rights if your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described.

We want you to feel completely confident throughout the process, so where appropriate, we can provide design discussions, agreed details, and progress updates before your bouquet is completed. This helps ensure your finished piece reflects the style and sentiment you have chosen.

Please note that handmade variations, natural differences in embellishments, tiny placement differences, or artistic interpretation within the agreed design are not considered faults. These details are part of the handmade character and individuality of a bespoke Magpie Creative bouquet.

If you believe your bouquet has arrived damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the packaging and item so we can review this with care.

For your reassurance and ours, bespoke and made-to-order bouquets may be despatched with a Magpie Creative security tag attached. If you need to report a fault or damage on arrival, this tag must remain intact and in place while the matter is reviewed. Removal, alteration, breakage, or tampering with the security tag may be taken as acceptance of the item and could affect any refund, replacement, or remedy available, except where your statutory rights apply.

Ready-Made Bouquets

Our ready-made bouquets are available exactly as shown and are ready to despatch. These pieces have already been completed, meaning their colours, embellishments, layout, size, and overall design cannot usually be changed.

If you love a ready-made bouquet but would like something similar in different colours, with alternative details, or with matching bridesmaid pieces, we may be able to create a made-to-order version inspired by that design.

Please get in touch by direct message or email, and we will be happy to work with you to bring your bouquet dreams to life.

Returns for Ready-Made Bouquets

Ready-made bouquets are available to purchase exactly as shown and are not personalised or created especially for you. In accordance with UK consumer law, these items may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused, undamaged, and returned in their original condition and packaging.

All ready-made bouquets are despatched with a Magpie Creative security tag attached. This tag must remain fully intact and in place for a return to be accepted. If the tag has been removed, altered, broken, or tampered with, the bouquet will be considered accepted and will no longer be eligible for return.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

Once your bouquet has been received back and inspected, we will confirm whether the return has been accepted and arrange any refund due. Items returned damaged, used, incomplete, or without their security tag may not be eligible for a refund.

Delivery Arrangements

UK Mainland Delivery

We offer free tracked delivery on UK mainland orders over £100. Orders under £160 are subject to a £6.99 delivery charge. All UK orders are sent using a tracked delivery service so you can follow your parcel once it has been despatched.

Please note that delivery times are separate from production times. If your bouquet is made to order or bespoke, the estimated making time will apply before your item is despatched.

Once your order has been sent, tracking details will be provided where available. Please ensure that the delivery address supplied at checkout is correct and complete, as we cannot be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details.

International Delivery

We are happy to ship internationally where possible. As shipping costs, import duties, taxes, and customs requirements vary by country, international delivery is quoted individually and may be added to the item price so that correct fees can be collected at time of transportation. Please contact us before placing an international order so we can provide a personalised shipping quote. Any import duties, taxes, customs fees, or charges applied by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer.

Bouquet Sizes & Dimensions

Every Magpie Creative bouquet is a one-of-a-kind handmade creation. Each flower, embellishment, jewel, bead, button, pin, and ribbon is individually selected and placed to complement the bouquet's colour palette, style, and overall design. Consequently, no two bouquets will ever be the same.

As each bouquet is created by hand, measurements and weight may vary slightly depending on the materials, textures, layers, and level of embellishment used. This is not a flaw, but part of the beauty and individuality of a handmade Magpie Creative piece.

The Bouquet Globe

  • Small bouquet – ideal for children or bridesmaids, approximately 20cm in width.
  • Standard bridal bouquet – approximately 25–28cm in width, and up to around 30cm where lace, ribbons, or fuller decorative details are included.
  • Globe height – approximately 15–18cm at the centre point, measured from where the handle meets the bouquet to the highest point of the globe.

The Handle

  • Handle length – approximately 12–15cm.
  • Handle circumference – approximately 12–14cm at the widest point, typically near the base of the handle where embellishments are most concentrated.
  • Handle width – usually between 3cm and 5cm in diameter.

Weight

The weight of each bouquet depends on the type, quantity, and density of embellishments used. Non-brooch bouquets are typically very light up to 1kg. Brooch bouquets may weigh more due to the nature of the metal hardware, crystal details, and decorative elements used.

To ensure every embellishment is beautifully and securely in place, heavier items and encrusted details may be fixed using strong adhesives and/or pins. These fixings are carefully hidden within the bouquet's construction where possible or thoughtfully incorporated so they complement the overall design. While fixings may occasionally be visible in small areas, they will be neat, secure, and finished with care.

Every bouquet is carefully checked before despatch, and we will only ever send a piece that meets our standards for beauty, quality, and finish.

Please note that all measurements and weights are approximate. If you require specific information about a particular bouquet, or have a preference around size or weight, please contact us before placing your order and we will be happy to advise.

Brooch Bouquets

Brooch bouquets are generally constructed differently from our fabric or crystal bouquets. Due to the weight and structure of the brooches, they are usually designed in a flatter teardrop shape, allowing the decorative pieces to sit beautifully, securely, and comfortably when carried.

A flat teardrop design often works best for brooch bouquets, as it helps balance the weight of the embellishments while showcasing the sparkle, metalwork, and individual details of each brooch. This shape can create a graceful, elegant silhouette with a vintage-inspired feel.

When constructed in a curved-edge teardrop shape, the unfinished bouquet base is approximately 12–15cm wide and 20–23cm long. The finished height may range from approximately 4–6cm in depth, depending on the final design and decorative details used. Additional features such as bouquet necklaces, crystal drops, draped embellishments, lace, ribbons, and other trailing details may increase the overall length, weight, and visual impact of the finished bouquet. Embellishment can also add approximately 2–3cm across the overall bouquet presentation, especially when larger pieces are incorporated.

For comfort and practicality, we do not recommend brooch bouquets larger than this suggested size. Larger designs can become heavy and cumbersome to carry, and the additional weight may affect the balance, structure, and ease of handling of the finished piece, especially if lots of trailing work is added front loaded placing additional strain on the handle support weight.

The handle is approximately 12–15cm in length and around 3–5cm wide depending on whether a cushioned design is used, although this may vary slightly depending on the style, structure, and balance of the finished piece.

Brooch bouquets are usually much heavier than standard fabric flower bouquets because they are created using metal brooches, crystal embellishments, decorative hardware, and layered structural materials. Depending on the design, size, and density of embellishment, a brooch bouquet may typically weigh around 2kg or more.

This added weight is part of the nature and beauty of a highly embellished brooch bouquet, but it is something to consider when choosing this style. We will always aim to create a bouquet that is secure, balanced, and comfortable to carry, while still achieving the desired visual impact.

If you prefer a more traditional rounded or globe-style bouquet, this may be possible for some brooch designs. However, globe-shaped brooch bouquets can be heavier and may require additional structural support, depending on the size, type, and density of the brooches used. Where a globe shape is requested, we will discuss this with you before making begins and advise on what is achievable for your chosen style. The final shape, balance, and finish will always be guided by both beauty and practicality, ensuring your bouquet remains secure, comfortable to hold, and true to the Magpie Creative aesthetic.

As with all handmade pieces, slight variations in shape, placement, weight, and finish are part of the character of a bespoke brooch bouquet and are not considered faults.

A Note on Our Imagery

At Magpie Creative, we want every customer to feel inspired, informed, and confident when choosing their bouquet.

Some of the lifestyle or styled imagery used across our website, social media, or promotional materials may be created or enhanced with the assistance of AI. This helps us show how a Magpie Creative bouquet could look within a beautiful wedding setting, colour palette, or styled scene.

These images are intended for inspiration only. They help convey mood, styling, atmosphere, and creative possibilities, but should not be treated as an exact representation of any finished bouquet unless specifically stated.

Every Magpie Creative bouquet is a real, handmade piece, created by us with care, skill, and attention to detail. Product listing photographs, ready-made bouquet images, progress updates, and direct images sent to customers are the best guide to the actual bouquet, including its colours, finish, embellishments, size, shape, and details.

Please also note that colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, and editing. Styled imagery may include props, backgrounds, dresses, accessories, or settings that are not included with the bouquet.

We are proud of the artistry and quality of every piece we create, and we want you to shop with complete confidence. If you would like to see further photographs, videos, or close-up details of a particular bouquet before purchasing, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
